Sylvanas Windrunner Cosplay Process

As I explained in my last post, today I used duct tape to make a mold of my chest. I used an entire roll, because you can never have too much ducttape. I got the shape and size of my breasts so that when I apply fibreglass it will fit perfectly.
 Here are some pictures:
It made my breast look sort of flat, but it has something to with the ducttape being soft and bendable.

As you can see, my there are indents where my breasts are , so when I start applying fibreglass it will be correct. Or so I hope.

My Future Cosplay Plans

Whenever I am finished with my costumes and worn them for the cons, I start thinking what to make next. Usually I have million ideas, but in the end I always decide on something 2-3 months before.
I do have some ideas for cosplays I want to make.

My next cosplay will be Sylvanas Windrunner from the MMORPG World of Warcraft.

Today I'm starting my work on some of the molds, in particular the chestpiece as I think that will be the hardest.
To make my mold I will be ducttaping my chest, with a shirt and a bra under so it fits my chest perfectly.
When I got the initial shape I will make some of the large details with ducttape.
I used this method for my Faun costume to get the right pieces for the legs.
When I have created all the molds and added details, I will start by applying fibreglass to the molds, so that I get a hard finish that will last.
I am quite excited to be working with fibreglass as I have never worked with this material, if I like it and the end results are great, I might use this method in the future.
I will post pictures updating my process, and maybe give you some tutorials!

Some other ideas for future costumes are;
Ayusawa Misaki from Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama
  Ranma-Chan from Ranma 1/2
Imp Midna From Legend of Zelda Twillight princess
Saria or Ruto from Legend of Zelda
Ezia the female version of Ezio from Assassins Creed
Jesse from Pokémon
Celty from Durarara
Adepta Sororitas from Warhammer 40k
Female Comissar from Warhammer 40k

My former cosplays

My first cosplay ever was Yuki Cross from the series VampireKnight, and I bought the entire costume except the stockings and shoes. I also modified the gun that Zero gives her in the series. But as my first cosplay it's not too bad. I don't have a lot of pictures which are good so my dear readers you will have to get by with this one taken by some random person at the con:

My second cosplay was Akashiya Moka from the series Rosario + Vampire, I put the items together and bought the wig on internet. I made the little vampire plushie (the one that says chuuuu~) myself from some old socks. I wasn't able to finish her green blazer, but I will find time to finish it some time in the future. Heres two pictures from the Free Comic Book Day con in may 2009.
Just gotten a rose from Sanji. *Blush* ~
On stage, sadly I wasn't paying attention and was trying to keep my wig in place.

My third cosplay was the first one I really spent time on. I cosplayed Selene from the movie series Underworld. (Lots of vampires eh?) I put all the pieces together, sadly I made none from the bottom myself, but I was still very proud of it. I'm aware in the first picture I have red hair, but the school had an halloween event and I dyed it that very evening.

My fourth cosplay I cosplayed a Faun from irish mythology and I spent hours and hours thinking how to get the legs right. I somehow did it, and people were overjoyed by my costume. And people on the streets couldn't help staring. With this costume I actually made it into top ten! I was so happy I smiled like an idiot on stage. The pictures are a bit bad, but I will redo some of the pictures in summer.

My latest costume is Chewbacca from Star Wars, also this time I made it to the finals. Sadly I have no good pictures, but I will have some photoshoots in the near future. Untill then enjoy this one.
That's it for now!

Manga/Anime Review: Skip Beat!

I first heard of Skip Beat! when I had just finished another manga by the same author called Tokyo Crazy Paradise.
I had been giggling and loving every minute of  the manga, when I went into my sisters room and she was laughing just as loudly as I had been just a minute ago.
I peeked over her shoulder and noticed the similar drawing styles.
Since then a year passed and I finally started watching the anime. I loved it! So many fun moments that will have you cry tears of laughter, oh and Tsuruga Ren is hot.
Sadly, the anime ends midways and for now I haven't heard any news of a season two. When it ended it left me hungering for more so I started reading the manga.

The main protagonist Kyouko Mogami lived solely for her childhood friend Shoutaro "Shou" Fuwa.
He convinces her to follow him to Tokyo so that he may realize his dream of becoming a famous singer. When his dream is realized, Kyouko overhears the truth behind his decision to bringing her with him: he was only using her as a maid.
As you probably guessed this infuriates her and she swears she will outdo him in show business, so she joins LME, a talent agency where she befriends another star named Tsuruga Ren.
You follow her fun and heart wrenching situations and watch her ability to befriend even the most egocentric of stars.

I give this manga and anime 5/6 striped panties.

 Manga Review: Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama.

Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama is a fantastic manga which I really recommend for all shoujo lovers. The series also has an anime, that follows the manga accurately which I find really important. The sad part about the anime is that it's uncompleted, and stops in the middle. But the producers have promised a season two in the future.

The main protagonist in the story is a young girl named Misaki Ayuzawa. She is the school president for the before all boys girl, and her main gm telling everyone. As in all shoujo mangas, romance kicks in following heart warming situationoal is to keep all the girls safe and make Seika Highschools reputation rise. Because of her position and obsession with keeping the girls safe, she has earned the reputation of a boy-hating demon. What the boys don't know is that she works part time at a maidcafé, and she'd like to keep it that way. The story kicks in when a senior named Takumi Usui finds out about her part time job and she has to work hard to keep him fros which will make any fangirl squeal while blushing.

At this point this is one my absolute favorites, and I give this manga 6 out of 6 striped panties.

Also, in the animes ending; you see Usui without a shirt. That made me squeal a lot. Omnomnom.
